Celtic fans were delighted when a question came up about the club on The Chase - but some were confused about The Chaser's response.
Contestant Lucy was up against Mark 'The Beast' Labbett in last night's episode when they were asked, 'What number appears on the badge of Celtic Football Club?', and presented with three options: 1666, 1777 or 1888.
Looking perplexed, Lucy went for the middle option, adding, "I really didn't want a football question to come up."

Of course, as Hoops fans know, she got it wrong and the correct answer was 1888.
And while The Beast answered correctly, some viewers noticed that he made an error when he went on to explain who the club was founded by.
He said that club was originally founded by Brother Wilfred, rather than Brother Walfrid.

One person tweeted: "The Chaser got the question right and told the contestant Celtic had been founded by "Brother Wilfred"."
Meanwhile, the error appears to cause confusion elsewhere as one Twitter user tweeted Mark and offered another alternative.

They wrote: "Just seen an episode of The Chase, It was Brother Waldron that founded Celtic in 1888, not Wilfred."
Most fans however were delighted to see their club get a mention on the hit ITV show, with one saying: "finally got one right."
Another wrote: "A Celtic question on The Chase yasss."
