A popular Glasgow shopping centre has put over 100 people to work ahead of the Christmas period.
Silverburn shopping centre recently held its "successful" annual jobs fair in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.
The fair was attended by 25 employers, including Marks & Spencer and Schuh, and showcased a range of full and part-time positions, including roles with Silverburn Headquarters
David Pierotti, general manager at Silverburn said: “We are proud that we could help facilitate so many offers.
"For some people, these roles will be part-time positions that allow them to work around other commitments and for others, it will be the start of a fulfilling career in retail or hospitality.
“This is our first true post-COVID Christmas and our stores have already seen an increase in customers.
"We have also welcomed some new names to the Silverburn recently, with The White Company being the most recent opening.
"This will undoubtedly see shopper numbers rise, so we are glad that our retailers are well-staffed!”
