The MSPS claimed between them £284,294. Of that, office costs made up £150,399.

The SNP, Labour, Conservative and Green MSPs from Glasgow charged £27,153 for hotel accommodation for overnight stays in Edinburgh throughout the year.

They also claimed £17,946 in travel costs, including motor miles, rail and taxi fares.

Almost £10,000 was in car mileage with MSPs claiming £9,875 in mileage, another £4,741 in train fares and £108 in taxi fares.

With Holyrood sitting in a remote or hybrid model for much of the year MSPs would have needed to travel between the two cities less often than in previous years.

This year there were claims for home working with MSP staff working from home as offices were closed.
