A WOMAN who ran over a young girl after failing to stop at a red light was fined £580 today.
Stacy Roger, 42, ploughed into the 11-year-old in Glasgow's Gallowgate on September 8, 2021.
The incident took place at the area's Forge Cross.

Court papers state Roger drove a white Volkswagen Golf dangerously and at speed.
It is stated Roger failed to stop at a traffic light which was showing red.
Roger then struck the girl who was crossing the road on the body.
The girl fortunately escaped with minor injuries.

A tearful Roger appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court to plead guilty to dangerous driving to the girl's injury.
Sheriff Barry Divers disqualified Roger, of the city's Carmyle, for 12 months on top of her fine.
