A crash at a junction near Costco has sparked an emergency response.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of the Springburn Expressway and St Rollox Brae this afternoon.
The expressway is reduced to one lane and closed in some areas while recovery of the vehicles takes place.
This will affect access to the superstores at St Rollox Brae including Costco and Tesco.
A traffic information bulletin issued at 1.10pm reads: "Due to a road traffic collision at the junction of the Springburn Expressway and St Rollox Brae (Access to Costco, Tesco) the Springburn Expressway southbound is currently being reduced to one lane and in some occasions closed while the emergency services move the vehicles involved in the incident.
"Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route."
Cops confirmed that they were called to the incident, which involved two cars.
There were no injuries and the road has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars on Springburn Road, Glasgow, around 12.30pm on Sunday, 18 December, 2022.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“Details were exchanged and recovery has been arranged.”
