A sixth poll in a row has shown support for Scottish independence at above 50%.
The SNP said it is more evidence that the UK Government should agree to the Scottish Parliament holding a referendum.
The poll by Panelbase for the Sunday Times newspaper found 52% supported independence when don’t knows were excluded.

Keith Brown, deputy leader of the SNP, said: “Six consecutive polls have now shown a majority for independence, representing a growing strength of feeling in Scotland the Tories would be wise not to ignore.
“The chaos and calamity we see being produced by the Tories at Westminster that has seen mortgage rates rise, inflation soar and energy bills reach record levels, is making more and more people realise that the safest and best option for Scotland is a permanent escape with the full powers of independence.
“The people of Scotland have demonstrated their support for a referendum, having delivered the largest ever majority of pro-independence MSPs in the 2021 Holyrood election.
“With each new poll released the position of the Westminster establishment parties becomes even more untenable - Scots must and will be given the opportunity to decide their future.”
Meanwhile, the newly elected deputy leader of the SNP’s Westminster group of MPs said her party must do more to
Mhairi Black said explaining why independence is needed is a priority for the MPs.
She said: "They (the people of Scotland) know we support independence rather than why.
“We need to do more to explain it's not just some random hobby, it's for a purpose."
