A North Glasgow gift drive has received almost 200 Christmas donations from a city firm.
The packages arrived as part of the Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas campaign, to the Possilpark social work service.
Thanks to the support, 197 vulnerable young people will receive a present on Christmas morning.
City Building donated the gifts to the organisation to ensure more kids whose parents are affected by the cost of living crisis will receive a gift.

Alan Burns, executive director of the company, said: “Every child deserves to wake up to a special gift on Christmas day, regardless of their situation.
“I am so proud of all the City Building staff who decided to get involved and give back this festive period. Community is a top concern of City Building as we look to enrich and sustain the areas in which we work and live.
“From all of us at City Building, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We look forward to continuing our mission of building a sustainable future in 2023.”
