A CAT adoption centre was flooded after it suffered a burst pipe.
The incident at Cat's Protection Glasgow Adoption Centre, in Auchinloch, resulted in running water flooding one area that housed some of the cats.
As soon as staff discovered the flood, the cats were moved to empty pens in other parts of the centre.

Thankfully, none were injured and there were just enough spare pens for them all, and while rehoming will continue, admissions are being paused for several days to allow capacity to be assessed.
For safety reasons, electricity to the affected wing has been shut off which has put two of the centre's three industrial washing machines out of action and washing is backing up.
The centre, which houses up to 60 cats, is now appealing for donations of cat beds, small and medium blankets and towels until the machines are back in action.

Jan Atkinson, deputy manager, said: "The cats in the affected area were our number one priority and we managed to safely move them to other parts of the centre and made sure they were kept comfortable and as stress-free as possible.
"Once the water was shut off we started the clean-up operation, and all the staff and volunteers have been amazing getting the water mopped up and making the area safe.
"As you can imagine, with this many cats there is an awful lot of washing that we just can’t get through with only one machine.
"We are asking anyone that feels able to donate blankets and towels so that we can get through the next few days and weeks."
Anyone wishing to donate can do so at the centre which is located at Cardyke Farm on Langmuirhead Road between 11am and 3pm.
