A busy Glasgow road is to close for around six weeks.
High Street will be closed between its junctions with Duke Street and Rottenrow from January 9, 2023.
This is in order for Scottish Water to carry out sewer repair works after CCTV investigations revealed what looked like a void sewer pipe under High Street.
Local businesses will stay open and pedestrians will have access at all times.

Georgina Reid, Scottish Water’s corporate affairs manager in the west, said: “We are now making our final preparations for this proactive work which allows us to take care of the waste water network in the area.
"We know this is a busy part of the city and we will therefore do all we can to minimise disruption where possible.
“We would like to thank road users, local residents and businesses in advance for their patience and understanding while these essential works are being carried out.”
