A fire has broken out in a Glasgow tenement with one person rushed to hospital.
Fire crews remained at the scene on Garthland Drive in Dennistoun.
At the height of the blaze, nine fire engines were required to get the fire under control.
The fire broke out around 2.43am on Thursday, December 29.
A person was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a fire at a flat on Garthland Drive, Glasgow at 2.43am on Thursday, December 29.
“Operations control mobilised nine appliances to the scene. Once the casualty was reported and was taken to the hospital suffering smoke inhalation. Crews remain in attendance.”
