A road in the Gorbals remains closed after a fire broke out at a commercial property.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Crown Street around 11.55am which remains closed to traffic between Cumberland Street and Errol Gardens.
At the height of the incident, 9 fire engines were in attendance.
Pictures reveal commercial properties including the Co-op, Illusion Hair and Beauty, and Ann's Fry fish and chips shop have been evacuated.
There are no reported casualties at this time.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.55am on Thursday, 29 December to reports of a building fire on Crown Street, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised nine appliances to the scene, where crews remain in attendance as they work to extinguish a fire affecting a single-storey commercial property.
"There are no reported casualties at this time."
