Two houses have been targeted by break-ins over Christmas.
The properties on Muir Street in the Larkhall area were broken into at some point between December 24 and 28.
Officers investigating the incidents believe that December 26 is the most likely date that the homes were targeted.
The force is now urging any witnesses to these break-ins to come forward with information that may help the investigation.
Neighbours are also being asked to check their CCTV cameras over those dates to see if they find anything suspicious.
