A major road has been closed due to a crash.
Torrance Road is expected to be shut for at least an hour following a road traffic incident on the bridge at the junction of Cole Road and Torrance roundabout.
East Dunbartonshire Council issued a statement saying that emergency services had been called.
NOW - a crash on the bridge has closed Torrance Road at the junction of Cole Road and Torrance roundabout. Emergency services are on their way but the road is expected to remain closed for at least an hour.

Meanwhile, the closure is affecting bus services as First's 89A is unable to go to Torrance Road.
The service will terminate on Kirkintilloch Road.

We are currently unable to serve Torrance due to a police road closure on Torrance Road. We will be terminating on Kirkintilloch Road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.20pm on Monday, January 2, police were called to a report of a road crash on Torrance Road, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow.
"Officers are in attendance and recovery of the vehicles is being arranged."
The road reopened at around 4.45pm.
