Former Celtic star Craig Gordon has marked a milestone birthday at home as he recovers from a horror injury.
The Hearts keeper, who played for the Hoops from 2014 to 2020, has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a double leg break during a recent match against Dundee United.
He was stretchered off in agony after an accidental collision with Steven Fletcher, and has been left with both a broken tibia and fibula.
While the club captain recovers at home, he recently managed to enjoy both New Year and his 40th birthday celebrations with his partner, former Celtic TV presenter Summer Harl, and their children.
Summer shared some photos of the festivities on Instagram, writing: "When you can’t get out to celebrate, the celebrations come to you! 40 looks good on you CG, boot and all!"
Craig responded to the post by thanking his partner for organising the party.
