A popular Glasgow venue has announced early opening hours for people with autism.
The Riverside Museum, known for its transport memorabilia, will open one hour earlier from 10am until 11am, to provide a "calmer" and "less crowded environment" for those with autism.
The initiative will begin on Friday, January 13, and will take place one Friday a month, with the exception of December.
The Glasgow Life venue, formerly known as the Glasgow Museum of Transport, is housed next to The Tall Ship on the River Clyde and showcases the likes of steam trains, trams, and historic cars.
The venue took to Facebook on Tuesday to announce the new hours.
They said: "Riverside Museum will open early on these dates for visitors who prefer a calmer, less crowded environment.
"We will open to the general public at 11am as usual. Our quiet safe space will be open all day as well.
"We look forward to welcoming you!"
