A man is to stand trial charged with murdering his partner.

The murder charge further states he had previously shown "malice and ill will" towards Miss Stewart.

Kennedy denied the accusation via his lawyers during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.

A trial was fixed for October this year.

Kennedy, Kirkliston, Edinburgh, remains on bail meantime.
