A spokesperson from Glasgow Credit Union, said: "The donation will help some primary seven students attend a residential trip in January 2023.
"We are not sure exactly where or what the residential trip will be, but we know that it will allow the children to forge stronger relationships with their peers, especially just before they move to secondary school.
"Many families are not able to pay the full amount and this donation will (also) help allow a few of the pupils to be able to attend and give them an enjoyable experience they otherwise would not have had."
