A popular Merchant City restaurant will temporarily close this month for a 'major' upgrade and refurbishment.
Turkish restaurant Turkiye Efes has announced that it will shut for over a month to undergo a series of 'major' works.
The restaurant has promised a 'new and improved' look following the makeover which is set to begin on Monday, January 9.
The team took to Facebook on Wednesday to announce the news.

They said: "Turkiye Efes will be closed from Monday, January 9 for five to six weeks to allow for major upgrade works and refurbishment.
"Stay tuned for progress updates and pictures.
"We can’t wait to welcome you all back to the new and improved Turkiye Efes.
"Before closing, make sure to join us this weekend for a party of Turkish dancing delicious Turkish cuisine and a warm welcome await you all Don’t miss out!
"Thank you for your continued support and custom."
