A MAN saved an infant who was thrown to safety after a fire broke out at a block of flats.
Hero Ryan McGeachie was making his way back home from the shops along Harley Street in Ibrox yesterday afternoon when he heard a woman screaming.
The quick-thinking 30-year-old jumped into action when he realised there was a fire and people were trapped inside including a young girl he says was "no more than three [years old]".

Ryan said: "I was walking back from the shop and then a woman started screaming.
"I wasn't sure what was happening.
"And then she opened up her window a bit more and then picked up a child and started shouting 'fire'.
"So I ran straight over below the window and caught the child when she was ready to drop her.
"I caught her and then put her down and made sure she was okay."
Ryan, who works as a fishmonger, says the incident was "surreal".
He said "I just thought 'get the child'.
"I'm just happy they're okay."
