A care jobs fair will be coming to East Renfrewshire later this month.
East Renfrewshire Council has organised a care jobs fair which will take place at the Foundry in Barrhead on Wednesday, January 25 from 3pm until 6pm.
The event will allow attendees to meet local and national employers face-to-face, apply directly for vacancies, and speak to the council’s employability service, Work EastRen, about interview tips, help with CVs and training opportunities.

Employers signed up so far cover social care and care homes, including the East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership, who will be offering contract and permanent job vacancies.
Councillor Danny Devlin, convener for environment and housing, said: “A career in care is hugely rewarding – you provide a lifeline to vulnerable residents in East Renfrewshire.
"So, if you’re looking for a role in this sector, this event is a fantastic opportunity to not only speak with local employers, but also get some tips from Work EastRen staff on how to secure your job.
"We’ve got a great range of employers coming along, so I’d encourage anyone who can, to head along to the Foundry.”
