Two men have appeared in court accused of attempting to murder a man.
John McWilliams, 39, and Dylan Causer, 19, allegedly assaulted Eddie Divers at a flat in Rutherglen on January 9.
Court papers claim the pair repeatedly punched and kicked Mr Divers on the head and body.

It is claimed they went on to push him on the body causing him to fall to the ground.
Allegations state McWilliams and Causer then repeatedly kicked Mr Divers on the body.
The alleged offence is said to be to Mr Divers' severe injury, danger of his life and attempted murder.
McWilliams faces three separate charges at the same time and place.
He is said to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing at police.
McWilliams is further claimed to have assaulted an officer and resisted arrest by struggling violently.
The pair made no plea today at a private hearing in Glasgow Sheriff Court.

McWilliams was remanded pending further examination while Causer, of Rutherglen, received bail and was committed for further examination.
McWilliams, also of Rutherglen, will appear in court within the next eight days.
