Information had been given to police that images of child sexual exploitation and abuse had been downloaded at the property.
Numerous devices had been seized following the search.
Prosecutor Lauren Donnelly said: "Hush looked uncomfortable, shifting in his seat and (police) could see there was something in his pocket."
Hush then handed over the phone and PIN in order for cybercrime officers to examine the device.
Indecent images of children were discovered and Hush was arrested.
The images were kept on various folders on his phone as well as on a cloud storage network.
A total of 39 still and moving images of boys and girls aged between two months and 14-years-old were recovered.
A further 1,323 images were located on the cloud network with the children aged between one and 14-years-old.
Hush, of the city's Toryglen, pleaded guilty today to possession of indecent images of children.
