A Glasgow MSP has hit out at anti-abortion protestors, who gathered in front of two city hospitals today.
On Twitter, Labour MSP Pam Duncan-Glancy described the action as the "unacceptable harassment of women".
She also called for the creation of buffer zones to make similar gatherings illegal.
This comes after campaign group Back Off Scotland shared pictures of the protestors outside the Queen Elisabeth University Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The QEUH and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary are being targeted by protestors this week.

It’s disgraceful that this is still going on in Scotland in 2023. pic.twitter.com/uuB9TOv5qZ

It’s time to make it illegal and to create buffer zones as @GillianMacMSP bill will do. https://t.co/SJvHgRepsD
In the pictures, around a dozen people can be seen, from 40 Days For Life, a movement to end abortions.
They are carrying signs that say "Choose life", "Don't be coerced into abortion" and more.
People in the comments were vocal about their disagreement with the protest.
One person called it "an utter disgrace" while another user described it as "disgusting".

A spokesperson for the movement said: "40 Days for Life organise a peaceful, prayer vigil for 12 hours a day for a 40-day time period during Lent.
"There is a prayer vigil organised outside the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for Lent 2023. We believe this hospital is one of the largest in Europe. This prayer vigil has been organised since 2016.
"The purpose of the vigil is to pray peacefully and legally for an end to abortion."
