A BUSY Bearsden road will be closed for a week to allow for emergency Scottish Water works.
Motorists are being asked to use alternative routes to avoid Lovat Avenue at its junction with Roxburgh Drive and Elgin Road to allow essential repairs to be carried out.
The work is expected to last until Sunday, January 29.
Drivers are again being asked to steer clear to avoid potentially lengthy delays.
Scottish Water has apologised for any inconvenience and thanked affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding.
