UPDATE: British Transport Police have provided an update on the incident.
Train services near Glasgow have been disrupted due to an incident.
ScotRail tweeted at 7.20am that emergency services were called to the scene near Uddingston to deal with an incident.
Services via this station will be delayed or cancelled.
British Transport Police has been contacted for comment.

ScotRail issued an update shortly before 9am that the line via Uddingston had reopened after emergency services completed necessary investigations.
They said: "We're working hard to get services running again as normal, however some alterations may continue whilst we get crew and units back into the correct position."
