A SHOCKING video shows the extent of flooding in Milngavie as police send update.
As the Glasgow Times reported earlier today, East Dunbartonshire Council said that a main pipe burst at the junction of Auchenhowie Road and Glasgow Road.
Scottish Water has been joined by 999 services including the police and fire to deal with the ongoing incident.

Video footage taken by a local shows the entire street underwater with cars stuck in it.

Now, Police Scotland has issued the following statement: "Due to significant flooding of the A81 (Glasgow Road) at its junction with the A807 (Auchenhowie Road) and the surrounding area, the following road closures are now in place:
• Auchenhowie Road closed at the Roundabout junction with Boclair Road.
• South of the flooding - A81 (Glasgow Road) closed at the roundabout junction with B8030.
• North of the flooding – A81 shut at Dougalston Avenue.
Please avoid the area until further notice and heed advice regarding alternative routes."
Scottish Water said: "Customers in the G2, G3, G4, G5, G11, G12, G13, G15, G20, G51 & Bearsden G61 area have reported an interruption to their water supply.
"We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.
"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water.
"If you require additional support, please use this link to sign up as a Priority Services Customer.
