A NEW post box topper has popped up in the West End.
The Robert Burns-themed design appeared on Dumbarton Road in Partick just in time for Burns Night on January 25.
The cute crochet features a chef with a plump-looking haggis and a bagpiper ready to 'pipe in the haggis'.
The new postbox topper is also complete with a few lines from the bard himself.
The address to the haggis reads: "Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
"Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!
"Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
"Painch, tripe, or thairm:
"Weel are ye wordy o' a grace
"As lang's my arm."
Passers-by have stopped to admire the new post box topper, with many taking photos before the mysterious Partick knitter replaces it with a new creation.
