Earlier today, the Glasgow Times reported that a burst pipe at the junction of Auchenhowie Road and Glasgow Road caused major issues.
Scottish Water has confirmed that engineers are dealing with the issue.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: "We have identified a burst 36” strategic water main located at Auchenhowie Road; Milngavie which is causing some localised flooding, as well as an interruption to approximately 100,000 customers water supplies in the Glasgow City centre, Kelvinside, Tradeston, Ibrox, Knightswood, Yoker, Scotstoun and Partick area.
"Our operatives are in the area supporting customers with the flooding, and we are making arrangements to isolate this water main to allow our teams to carry out a safe repair of the water main.
"Whilst we undertake these works, please be aware that some customers may experience no water, low pressure or discoloured water supplies.
"Once we have isolated this water main, we will work to introduce network alterations to restore customer water supplies as quickly as possible."

• South of the flooding - A81 (Glasgow Road) closed at the roundabout junction with B8030.
