A POPULAR Chinese and Japanese takeaway will close its doors on Monday.
Owners of Okaerie, in Rutherglen, have announced on social media that the business will "sadly" be permanently closing and thanked customers for their support.

The post on Facebook read: "To all our lovely customers who supported us, we'll be sadly closing down permanently on January 30, 2023.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support.
"It has been a pleasure serving everyone.
"Hopefully we'll get to see everyone this weekend before we leave."
Fans of the takeaway said it will be "missed".
One person wrote: "Oh no, loved the fact you did sushi and lots of other different things.
"You'll definitely be missed. But guessing times are hard for everyone."
Another said: "Oh no that’s sad. You’ll be missed. Love your place."
A third person added: "This is so sad.
"We always loved the excellent food and service. You will be missed."
