Two musical icons contributed to a fundraiser at a Glasgow secondary school.
Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill, members of Simple Minds and former pupils at Holyrood Secondary, generously donated money towards a piano.
The Southside school posted an emotional thank you message on Twitter, showing appreciation to all donors.

It read: "Thank you so much to all of our supporters for our 'Sponsor a Key' fundraiser.
"We have been delighted and touched by the response from the Holyrood community and would like to sincerely thank former pupils Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds, for a very significant donation.
"This has allowed us to get an instrument four or five times the quality we initially planned."
