A teenage girl has died after a two-car crash on a major motorway.
The vehicles collided on the M73 northbound near the Gartcosh junction on Saturday at around 1.30pm.
One car contained a 62-year-old man who was driving and a 16-year-old girl who was a passenger in the back of the car.
Both were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where the girl later died.

He was later released pending further enquiries.
Cops closed the road for around seven hours while investigations were carried out.
