The demolition of a Glasgow building is nearly complete.
As we reported in November 2022, the empty Shawbridge Arcade in the Southside is set to be razed to the ground to make way for about 70 affordable flats.
Since then, plans for the homes and a new office for The Wheatley Group have moved ahead as the site was fenced off in October.
Now, pictures taken by Glasgow Times photographer Colin Mearns show the remains of the building as works continue.

In the pictures, the ruins of the building can be seen, with some pieces of the colourful murals by local artist Stephen Machin, aka Mack Colours still remaining.
He knew that the building was due to be demolished, but hoped that the community would appreciate the temporary street art, which became a beloved sight.
