UPDATE: Pensioner dies after fire rips through her home
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a fire near Glasgow today.
Police Scotland has warned motorists to avoid Carmen View and Lomond Drive in Dumbarton, as officers are assisting firefighters at a blaze.
People are advised to avoid the area.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that they are in the area and working to extinguish the flames.

A spokesperson said they were called around 3pm this afternoon to a housefire.
Police Scotland were contacted for comment and more on this as we have it.
