A man has been arrested after a child was 'attacked'.
The 13-year-old boy was walking along Great Western Road on Saturday when he was reportedly assaulted near World of Golf at around 2pm.
Officers investigating the alleged incident have since arrested and charged a 66-year-old man in connection.
He will appear in court.
Inspector Alan Gilbert said: "Thanks to the help of the public, a 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
"He is due to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court in due course."
