A probe has been launched after an indoor golf course was broken into.
The incident reportedly happened on Friday evening at around 9pm at NexGen golf centre in Cumbernauld.
Reports on social media claimed that a "quantity of golf clubs from all different brands" was stolen, along with putters, drivers and fairway woods.
The police confirmed that the incident had been reported to them and that an investigation has been launched.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a break-in to and theft from a premises on Deerdykes View, Cumbernauld, around 9.50am on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing.”
