A popular Glasgow restaurant is bringing an extra serving of fun to dinner time as they debut an 'upgraded' soft play area.
Mikaku on Queen Street is known for offering some of the best ramen dishes in the city with a funky neon-lit setting that aims to 'transport you to another world' as you dine.

Now, an 'upgraded' soft play area means that little ones can join in on the fun too with features including a ball pit, slide and playhouse.
Announcing the news on Facebook this morning owners said: "Fun for kids, peace for parents
"Introducing the upgraded soft play area at Mikaku restaurant.
"Say goodbye to boring kids' meals and hello to endless hours of playtime.
"With upgraded features, the kids will have a blast and for you, the parents, take a well-deserved break and enjoy a meal in peace.
"Or better yet, join in on the fun with your little ones!"

More than 100 people have since commented on the post with many eager to take their youngsters along to put the newly revamped space to the test.
One said: "Love this. Wish more places did this, it makes so much sense."
Another added: "Definitely booking this."
A third said simply: "Game changer."
