Hundreds of holidaymakers set off from Glasgow Airport on a direct flight to the Caribbean for the first time.
300 passengers hopped on board the flight to Barbados which was chartered by Hays Travel to take customers 'door to door' on their dream holiday.
The independent travel agent escorted holiday goers with everything they needed ahead of arriving in the Caribbean for a two-week P&O cruise.
Among the passengers were first-time cruisers, Kim Martin and her mum, Patricia Curran.

Kim said: “It’s lovely seeing all the staff here - all the Hays Travel staff have been great.
"This is my first cruise and Hays Travel has made it so easy. They completed my check-in, assisted with immigration forms in the store, and they made sure I had all the paperwork I needed.
"And I am just really happy we have the direct flight for me and my mum, it makes a big difference.”
Hays Travel’s cruise development executive, Emma Craggs, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to bring this unique offer of our own direct flights to Barbados from Glasgow Airport for the first time ever, along with the amazing experience of a fabulous P&O Cruises Caribbean cruise.”
“We have four more sunshine cruise escapes departing from Newcastle, Belfast, Edinburgh and Bristol over the next few weeks.
“All these sailings are fully booked, but we have another five for next winter from regional airports which are selling exceptionally fast, as well as another six for 2025.”
