A new restaurant from the team behind The Loveable Rogue in Glasgow will open soon in place of a ‘much-loved’ Bearsden eatery.

Oi Mamma will welcome customers for the first time on Wednesday, February 8 as they take over from the popular Raffaele's restaurant on Milngavie Road which closed last month.

Oi Mamma director, Amalia Colaluca said: "Our family-friendly restaurant will be vibrant from the inside out, providing local residents with a new place to eat and drink.

“The team behind the new concept has re-imagined a new interior concept for Italian cooking in Bearsden, and work is currently underway to completely transform the 80-seat restaurant with bar space.”

Highlights from a sneak peek of the menu include nduja hummus with sourdough flatbread, whole Lemon Sole on the bone served with brown butter or pizzas made with dough that has been proofed for 72 hours.
