Macmillan Volunteer Coordinator Vanessa Taylor said: "We’re here to help anyone affected by cancer. This includes people with a current or past diagnosis, and family, friends, carers, health and social care professionals, or anyone worried about cancer.
"Our team of dedicated, trained volunteers provide a friendly listening ear in our Macmillan spaces at the Foundry and Clarkston Library. We refer and signpost to other sources of support in the local community and beyond, including financial advice, emotional or practical support.
"Our drop-ins are informal and friendly, and we offer tea and coffee. There is no need to make an appointment. We also offer our Move More programme for people with a cancer diagnosis, with a gentle movement class, cancer-friendly walking groups and tailored exercise support."
