A man has been hospitalised with 'serious' injuries following an 'incident' at a tower block in Cambuslang this afternoon.
At around 4.55pm, police raced to respond to a report of a man injured at a property within the Rosebank Tower area.
Ambulance crews attended the scene and a 52-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
A second 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.55pm on Friday, February 3, 2023, we were called to a report of a man being injured within a property the Rosebank Tower area of Cambuslang.
"Emergency services attended and a 52-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
"A second 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident."
