A TikTok video of Andy Halliday remembering a ‘cheeky’ encounter with a gallous Hoops fan in the Apple store has gone viral.
In a clip shared by Open Goal, which has received over 230,000 views, the former Gers midfielder recalled the hilarious situation with the boy when he was shopping with his partner.
He said: “I’m in the Apple store with my missus and how bad is it when somebody gets cheeky when you’re with your missus?
“Some wee guy mate, I’m talking about 14, 15 years old come up and asked for a photo and it was right after Celtic beat us 5-1 at Parkhead.
“So me and this guy get in the photo and he goes like that to his mate ‘right tell me when’ and I’m like that ‘for f*** sake’ I think I’m getting scanted or something right.”

Halliday said the boy then held up five fingers on one hand and one on the other to represent the recent Celtic/Rangers scoreline.

He added: “F****** heid’s gone, Apple guy’s looking at me as if ‘what the f***’s going on here’ so I just went like that ‘f****** geez that phone, do you think you’re a f****** hard man aye?’”
After realising there wasn’t a whole lot he could do, Halliday gave the phone back.
Laughing, he added: “I canny chuck his phone I canny f****** delete it.”
Halliday has been a regular guest on the Open Goal podcast hosted by Si Ferry.
