Police have identified a woman who is in hospital after being hit by a car.
The 64-year-old was struck by a grey VW Tiguan car in Glasgow on Thursday, February 2, on Elmbank Street at its junction with St Vincent Street.
She was rushed to hospital, where she still remains.
Officers could not identify her following the incident and have been appealing for the public's help.
Now, the force has confirmed that the woman's family has been notified, following her identification.

They thanked everyone who shared information regarding this incident and they are still appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3467 of February 2, 2023.
