UPDATE: Road next to Glasgow Fort closed as car engulfed in flames
Police incidents have closed Auchinlea Road twice in one hour.
The road in near the Fort Shopping Centre was closed in both directions for the first time on Tuesday around 3pm.
Police informed the Glasgow Times that the first incident was due to a car crash.
The road reportedly re-opened shortly after.
Following the crash, Auchinlea Road was closed in both directions for a second time due to a further police incident.
First Bus was forced to divert its 19, 60, and 60A routes to Conisborough Road during both incidents.
No further information about the incidents is known.
Police Scotland has been contacted for further comment.

Services will use Conisborough Road both ways until further notice.

The road has since reopened a second time.
