Police have provided an update on an incident which locked down a Glasgow road.
We previously reported that Auchinlea Road had been closed off while police attended an incident.
A Traffcom bulletin confirmed that the incident involved a vehicle fire.
Now officers have revealed that they are treating the fire as suspicious and an investigation has been launched.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, officers were called to Auchinlea Road, Glasgow, following a report of a vehicle fire.
“The fire is thought to be suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
