Janey Godley sent a special video message to friends and fans after winning a comedy award.
The author and comic recorded the footage during her chemotherapy treatment, which she is receiving for ovarian cancer.
In it, she joked about getting the recognition and expressed her gratitude for being chosen Comedians' Comedian at the Chortle Awards.

The 61-year-old said: "Hi everybody, it's Janey here.
"I'm actually getting my chemotherapy right now.
"And I want to thank everybody who voted for me for Comedians' Comedian.
"I have not done comedy for a year, so I think you are very misguided but thanks everybody, this has fairly lifted me up and I cannot wait to see you all and I'm sure I will.
"To lots of my comedy pals, this is such a lovely honour."
