Multiple roads have been closed to traffic this morning as firefighters tackle a blaze in the city's East End.
The Glasgow Times previously reported that police and fire crews had raced to respond to reports of a fire at the NWH Waste Collection site on Nuneaton Street at around 2.35am today.
Several hours later emergency services remain at the scene and are working to make the area safe.

Due to heavy smoke, drivers have been advised that the Clyde Gateway is now closed between the Gallowgate and Dalmarnock Road junctions.
London Road remains closed between Springfield Road and Fielden Street
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.35am on Wednesday, February 8 to reports of a bin fire at Nuneaton Street, Glasgow.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised one appliance to the scene and on arrival firefighters found a commercial building well alight.
“A further five appliances and specialist resources were mobilised. Crews remain on the scene as they work to make the area safe.
"No casualties have been reported.”
