UPDATE: Five people taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Cumbernauld
A ROAD is currently closed following a two-vehicle crash in Cumbernauld.
Emergency services were called to Kildrum Road at around 1.10pm today following a report of the crash.
They remain at the scene and the road is closed.
It is not known if anyone was injured as a result of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.10pm on Thursday, February 9, to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Kildrum Road, Cumbernauld.
"Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
