FIVE people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Cumbernauld.
Emergency services were called to Kildrum Road at around 1.10pm today following a report of the crash.
The driver of one car was taken to hospital for treatment and two passengers were also taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle have been arrested.
They were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed until 4.30pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.10pm on Thursday, February 9, to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Kildrum Road, Cumbernauld.
"Emergency services attended.
"The driver of one car was taken to hospital for treatment and two passengers were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The driver and passenger of the other vehicle have been arrested and taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The road is currently closed."
