A KILLER attacked a prisoner while on remand for murder amid a row over noise.
Andrew Palfreman pounced on Ahmed Badreldin in Glasgow's Barlinnie prison on February 8 2022.
The 28-year-old punched Badreldin before kicking him on the body in the shower room.

Palfreman lashed out following unrest in the hall that Badreldin was interrupting prisoners sleep at night by banging walls and doors.
Palfreman was in custody at the time waiting to go on trial for murdering Barry MacLachlan, 33, in the city's Lambhill in July 2022.
The attacker repeatedly knifed Mr MacLachlan having been heard shouting: "Don't under estimate me."
A blood-soaked and badly wounded Mr MacLachlan ended up stricken in the close of where the attack occurred.
It was there Palfreman sent what his own lawyer described as "despicable" pictures and messages of the victim to a number of people including two men.
Palfreman later claimed he had been defending himself and was affected by someone in his head called "Mr Darkside".
There were audible gasps from Mr MacLachlan's family in the public gallery as Lord Summers ordered him to do a minimum 12-year punishment period behind bars.
Palfreman pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting Badreldin to his injury which was racially aggravated.
The court heard Palfreman was in the shower room when he was approached by an unknown person.
Prosecutor Emma Baker said: "Badreldin went backwards on the ground and Palfreman punched him on the face.
"Palfreman kicked him several times on the rib area."
Badreldin pushed back and tried to shield himself from the blows with his hands.
As Palfreman struck Badreldin he shouted: "F***ing money, f***ing black monkey."
Badreldin was able to make it to the landing where he called for help from prison officers.
He was noted to have blood coming from his upper lip but did not need medical treatment.
Sinead Corrigan, defending, told the court: "There had been certain tensions between Badreldin and other prisoners as he had been keeping people up at night.
"He had been hitting doors and walls and obstructing the sleep of other prisoners including Mr Palfreman.
"The position is that something was said in the showers - this was not planned - and there was an immediate reaction to it."

Sheriff Andrew Considine sentenced Palfreman to 15 months which runs concurrently with the murder jail term.
He said: "This was an unprovoked attack and I have to mark that"
