A manhunt has been launched following a sex attack on a Glasgow train last month.
Sometime between 4.15pm and 5pm on Friday, January 13 a male passenger sat beside a female on a service between Glasgow Queen Street Station and Haymarket.
He is then reported to have repeatedly touched her leg with his leg before putting his hand underneath his newspaper and touching the victim on her left leg with his hand.
She is said to have attempted to move her body towards the window, but the man again moved his leg so that it was pressed against hers.
When the service reached Linlithgow, the woman changed seats and then later alighted at Haymarket.
The man stayed on the train.
BTP are now appealing for information into the incident and have released a description of an individual who they believe may have information that can help with their enquiry.
He is described as Asian, tall and of a medium build with black hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans and was carrying a newspaper.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 – with reference 2300004611.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
